Most insurance plans have the
attorney's fees covered in full. What is not covered are the notary and recording fees. The notary fees
are $75 per person and the property transfer fees are $75 per piece of
real property (houses, condos, or vacant lots).
Some insurance plans do not have coverage for a trust. If your plan does
not have coverage for a trust or has reduced fee coverage, there will
be a fee of $1500 for a couple or $1000 for an individual.
Trusts Not Covered by Insurance
Insurance plans usually do not cover irrevocable trusts such as irrevocable
life insurance trusts or special needs trusts. I charge an additional
$500 for each trust.
