I moved to the United States and obtained my law degree at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln College of Law. While in law school, I completed a Business Transactions program of concentrated studies, with a focus on courses in trusts and estate planning. After graduating, I worked with the Oakland Police Department in the Special Victims Unit and as a defensive tactics instructor. I speak Russian and Ukranian.

Albert Wu

Estate Planning Associate Attorney

I grew up in Stockton, California then attended Cal (Go Bears!) and Harvard Law School. I lived on the East Coast and in Southern California before returning here to the Bay.

I enjoy trust and estate planning, and related areas of law because it allows me to help families and individuals plan and navigate their financial decisions. From both a personal and professional perspective, I understand how important these decisions can be to preserving not only wealth but also personal relationships.

In my free time, I enjoy exercising ( I am trying to learn martial art), reading, trying new foods, and traveling.   I speak Mandarin.

Norell S. Manning

Estate Planning Associate Attorney

I am a west coast transplant from New Jersey, but I grew up splitting my time between New Jersey and Delaware. I moved to California in 2013 to attend law school.  I received my Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of Delaware and an MBA specializing in Project and Team Management from Full Sail University. I graduated Cum Laude from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, where I was an active member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution team and Vice President of the Business Law Society.

In 2019 and 2020, I was recognized by the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program for my volunteer legal work assisting victims of domestic violence. I enjoy volunteering with organizations that provide legal assistance to indigent and disenfranchised communities in my free time. When I am not working or volunteering, I enjoy baking – my favorite thing to bake is vegan lemon bars (trust me, they are delicious!) - and I will be starting violin lessons soon.
